1. Introduction

Welcome to DealerInvoice ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you understand how your information is handled when you use our mobile application ("App").

This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection, use, and disclosure. By using DealerInvoice, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

DealerInvoice is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not:

• Collect, store, or transmit any personal or business data to our servers
• Track your location or device identifiers
• Access your contacts or other personal data beyond what you explicitly enter
• Use third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services
• Display advertisements
• Sell, share, or monetize any data with third parties
• Create user accounts or profiles on our servers
• Monitor your app usage or behavior
• Collect crash reports or diagnostic data (unless you explicitly share via support)

3. Data Storage

Local Storage

All data you enter into DealerInvoice is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. This includes:

• Company Information: Business name, address, phone, email, website, ABN/ACN, GST number, LMCT number, bank name, BSB, account number, account name, and company logo (if uploaded)
• Sales Records: Receipt numbers, sale dates, customer contact information (name, phone, email, address, license), vehicle details (make, model, year, VIN, registration, color, kilometers), financial information (price, GST amount, deposit, due amount, payment method), delivery information, invoice recipient details, salesperson, notes, and sale status
• Vehicle Inventory: Make, model, year, VIN, registration number, color, purchase date, purchase price, and status (In Stock, Sold, Pending Sale)
• Expense Records: Amount, category, description, date, paid by, reimbursement status, receipt images (photos you attach), and linked vehicle
• Receipt Settings: Invoice customization preferences, GST percentage, logo settings, and display options

All this data remains on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync in your device settings, your data is synchronized to your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit service. This allows you to access your data across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices.

• Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple
• Only devices signed into your Apple ID can access this data
• We have no access to your iCloud data—it is stored in your personal iCloud container
• You can disable iCloud sync at any time in your device settings
• Apple's privacy policy and terms apply to iCloud storage
• iCloud sync requires an active internet connection and sufficient iCloud storage space

4. Third-Party Services

Apple iCloud / CloudKit

Used for optional data synchronization. We cannot access this data. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Apple StoreKit

Used for in-app purchases. Apple handles all payment processing. We do not have access to your payment information.

Apple Push Notifications

Used for local reminders about pending sales and follow-ups. These notifications are generated locally on your device based on your sales data. We do not send remote push notifications or have access to notification content.

Photos Access

DealerInvoice uses Apple's PhotosPicker to allow you to:

• Attach receipt photos to expense records
• Upload your company logo for invoices

PhotosPicker does not require broad photo library access. You choose specific photos when needed, and they are stored locally in the app's database. We do not access your entire photo library or any photos you don't explicitly select.

5. Biometric Authentication

DealerInvoice supports Face ID, Touch ID, and Optic ID (on compatible devices) for app lock security:

• Biometric authentication is completely optional—you can enable or disable it in app settings
• All biometric data is processed exclusively by Apple's Secure Enclave on your device
• We never access, store, transmit, or have any visibility into your biometric data
• Your biometric data never leaves your device and is never shared with us or any third party
• You can configure lock timeout settings (immediate, 1 minute, 5 minutes, 15 minutes, or 30 minutes)
• You can choose whether to lock the app when it goes to the background

6. Data You Enter

You have complete control over all data entered into DealerInvoice. This includes:

• Business Information: Company name, address, phone, email, website, ABN/ACN, GST number, LMCT number, bank name, BSB, account number, account name, and company logo
• Customer Information: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, physical addresses, and driver's license numbers
• Vehicle Information: Make, model, year, VIN, registration number, color, kilometers, purchase date, purchase price, and status
• Sales Records: Receipt numbers, sale dates, customer details, vehicle details, pricing (including GST calculations), payment methods, deposit and due amounts, delivery information, invoice recipient details, salesperson, notes, and sale status
• Expense Records: Amounts, categories, descriptions, dates, who paid, reimbursement status, and receipt photos
• Invoice Customization: Logo, GST percentage, field visibility, section ordering, and display preferences

This data remains entirely under your control. You can view, edit, export, or delete any data at any time.

7. Data Sharing and Export

You have full control over how and when your data is shared or exported:

• PDF Invoice Export: Generate professional PDF invoices that you can share via email, AirDrop, or save to Files. You choose the recipient and method of sharing.
• CSV Data Export: Export sales data to CSV format with customizable options (include/exclude fields, date ranges, status filters). You control where the file is saved.
• PDF Reports: Generate sales reports in PDF format (summary, detailed, or combined) with charts and analytics. You control distribution.
• Backup/Restore: Create compressed backup files containing all your data. Backups are stored locally on your device or in your iCloud Drive (if you choose). You control backup creation, storage location, and restoration.

We do not have access to any exported or shared data. All sharing is initiated and controlled by you.

8. Data Security

• Apple's device-level encryption
• Optional biometric authentication
• iCloud encryption for synced data
• iOS sandboxing

9. Children's Privacy

DealerInvoice is a business application not designed for children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.

11. Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: View all your data within the app at any time
• Edit: Modify or update any data you've entered
• Export: Export data as PDF invoices, CSV files, or PDF reports
• Delete: Delete individual records or all data from within the app
• Portability: Use the backup feature to create a portable backup file that you can transfer to another device or store securely
• Control Sync: Enable or disable iCloud sync at any time through your device settings
• Control Security: Enable or disable biometric authentication and configure lock settings

Since we don't collect or store your data on our servers, you don't need to request data deletion from us—you control it directly in the app.
