Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the DealerInvoice mobile application ("App") operated by AAG Studios ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal or business use. This license does not include:

• Modifying, reverse engineering, or decompiling the App
• Renting, leasing, or lending the App
• Using the App for unlawful purposes
• Removing proprietary notices or labels

2. App Description

DealerInvoice is a comprehensive business management application designed specifically for Australian vehicle dealers. The app enables you to:

• Sales Management: Create, track, and manage vehicle sales records with detailed customer and vehicle information
• Invoice Generation: Generate professional, branded PDF invoices with your company logo, ABN/ACN, LMCT, GST calculations, and bank details
• Analytics & Reporting: View sales performance metrics, revenue trends, charts, and generate detailed PDF reports
• Vehicle Inventory: Track vehicle inventory with VIN, registration, make, model, year, purchase details, and status (In Stock, Sold, Pending Sale)
• Customer Management: Store customer contact information, addresses, and driver's license details
• Expense Tracking: Record business expenses by category, attach receipt photos, track reimbursement status, and link expenses to vehicles
• Data Synchronization: Optionally sync data across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices via iCloud
• Data Export: Export sales data as CSV files, generate PDF invoices and reports, and create backup files
• Security: Optional biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or Optic ID) to protect your business data
• Notifications: Receive local reminders for pending sales and follow-ups

The app is optimized for iOS 17.0+ and requires an active subscription or lifetime purchase to access all features.

3. Account and Access

DealerInvoice does not require an account with us. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining device security
• Keeping Apple ID credentials secure
• All activities on your device
• Ensuring data accuracy

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

Available Plans

DealerInvoice offers three subscription options:

• Monthly Subscription: $9.99 AUD per month, billed monthly
• Yearly Subscription: $79.99 AUD per year, billed annually (saves $39.89 compared to monthly)
• Lifetime Purchase: $199.99 AUD one-time payment (non-consumable purchase)

All plans provide full access to all app features. Pricing may vary by region and is subject to change. Prices displayed in the app are in your local currency as determined by the App Store.

Subscription Terms

• All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store using StoreKit 2
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage, modify, or cancel subscriptions at any time in your device Settings under Apple ID → Subscriptions
• If you cancel a subscription, you retain access until the end of the current billing period
• Lifetime purchases are one-time payments and do not renew
• Subscriptions are not shareable via Family Sharing (familyShareable: false)

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com or through your purchase history in the App Store. Refund eligibility is determined by Apple's policies and applicable consumer protection laws.

For subscription refunds, Apple typically provides refunds for unused portions of the current billing period if requested within a reasonable time frame. Lifetime purchase refunds are subject to Apple's standard refund policy.

5. User Responsibilities

As a user of DealerInvoice, you are responsible for:

• Lawful Use: Using the App only for lawful business purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Data Accuracy: Ensuring all information entered into the App (customer details, vehicle information, financial data, etc.) is accurate and up-to-date
• Tax Compliance: Verifying that GST calculations, tax information, and invoice details comply with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) requirements and your specific tax obligations
• Data Confidentiality: Maintaining the security of your device and Apple ID credentials to protect your business data
• Privacy Compliance: Complying with applicable privacy laws (including the Privacy Act 1988 in Australia) when collecting, storing, and using customer information
• Backup Responsibility: Regularly creating backups of your data to prevent data loss
• Device Security: Keeping your device updated with the latest iOS version and security patches
• Account Security: Not sharing your device passcode or Apple ID credentials with unauthorized persons

6. Data and Content

You retain complete ownership of all data you enter into DealerInvoice. This includes:

• Company information and business details
• Sales records and transaction data
• Customer information and contact details
• Vehicle inventory and specifications
• Expense records and receipt images
• Invoice customization settings and preferences

You are solely responsible for:

• Data Accuracy: Ensuring all data entered is accurate, complete, and current
• Data Legality: Ensuring all data complies with applicable laws and regulations
• Backup Maintenance: Regularly creating backups to prevent data loss (we recommend using the built-in backup feature)
• Privacy Compliance: Complying with privacy laws when collecting, storing, and using customer data (including obtaining necessary consents)
• Data Retention: Determining appropriate data retention periods and deleting data when no longer needed
• Export and Sharing: Ensuring compliance with applicable laws when exporting or sharing data (e.g., via PDF invoices or CSV exports)

We do not claim any ownership rights to your data. You may export, backup, or delete your data at any time through the App's features.

7. Intellectual Property

The App is owned by AAG Studios and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any features or calculations (including GST calculations)
• Warranties that data will not be lost or corrupted

You acknowledge that:

• GST calculations and tax information are provided for convenience only and should be verified with a qualified tax professional
• The App does not constitute tax, legal, or financial advice
• You should maintain independent records and backups of all business data
• iCloud sync availability depends on Apple's services and your internet connection

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AAG STUDIOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Loss or corruption of data (including sales records, customer information, or expense data)
• Errors or inaccuracies in calculations, invoices, or reports
• Interruptions in service or inability to access the App
• Issues arising from iCloud sync, device failures, or third-party services

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 AUD, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify AAG Studios from claims arising from your use of the App.

11. Termination

We may terminate access for Terms violations. Your data remains on your device.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Australian law. Disputes resolved in New South Wales courts.
